Awards for Photographic Merit & RPS Distinctions

If you would like to take your photography to the next level and give yourself something to work towards there are two organisations that offer similar qualifications - PAGB and RPS

PAGB - Photographic Alliance of Great Britain

There are 3 Awards for Photographic Merit - Credit, Distinction and Master

They are described by PAGB as follows:

Credit  (CPAGB)- Good Club Photography (10 images)

Distinction (DPAGB) - Open Exhibition Photography (15 images)

Master (MPAGB) - Highest Standard of UK Amateur Photography (20 images)

RPS - Royal Photographic Society

There are 3 Honours - Licenciateship, Associateship and Fellowship

They are described by RPS as follows:

Licentiateship  (LRPS)- High standard of photography (10 images)

Associateship (ARPS) - Exceptional standard of photography (15 images)

Fellowship (FRPS) - Outstanding standard of Photography (20 images)
